The FEMTO models create smooth customized tunnel resections to make the ring and inlay insertion easy. Their integrated OCT enables for more precise positioning of tunnel resections in the required depth and is helpful in cases with previous scarring.

Customization

  • The depth, the inner and outer diameters of the tunnel incisions, the axis, as well as the entry incision angles can be customized to best fit the patient’s surgery plan and to avoid any migration of the ring segments
  • For convenience, the FEMTO models include a pre-loaded library of ring models with its laser settings

Centration and Rotation

  • With the FEMTO models, the tunnel incisions can be precisely centered on the monitor for more predictability in the outcome

Visualization after docking

  • The incisions can be easily viewed and adjusted on the TopView image and/or OCT even after docking
